PTCL’s Fair Usage Policy (FUP) kind of works to make sure an optimum internet experience is there for as many users as possible. It’s basically there so that all our customers receive the best possible internet experience. If the customer does extra usage, then that additional usage will be charged, as per the given policy, sometimes people call it an “extra bit” but it’s still billed. Ans: The MDN is unique 9 to 11 digit number that has been assigned to your PTCL Home-Fi connection. You need to use this number when you recharge or re-subscribe your device. The MDN is available on the box of your PTCL Home-Fi device too, and also on the SIM card inserted on the back of the Home-Fi device.
Q3. How will I recharge my Home-Fi device?
Ans: Your package charges of Rs. 1,599 can be paid through Uload, Easypaisa, Jazzcash, PCPM machines (available at PTCL / Ufone service centers) , 1-Link, online banking channels or by simply visiting PTCL joint shops.
Q4. If I use up my volume and need more data, what can I do?
Ans: Not an issue at all! Just Recharge Rs. 1,599, then re-subscribe by sending an SMS and write ‘ResubYour device MDN’ to 0512181218. After that, you will get your package volume, valid for 30 days from the date of re-subscription.
Q5. Is there a return policy available with the device?
There is a 7-Day return policy that you can use. If you are not happy for any reason with your new Home-Fi device, you may bring it back in the same condition, with all accessories and the box too, to the PTCL Ufone Service Center. If your device was prepaid, you will get refund for the device price (Rs. 3,500) . Whereas if it is postpaid, the refund will cover the device price plus package charges, for the unused amount.
